Started by owners, Robert and Kelli Wood. Creek Wood Academy was started in our hearts in February of 2000 with a desire to bring high quality educational child care to Franklin. With the help of our wonderful staff, we succeeded. After much work, tears, laughter, and prayer, our school opened in January of 2002. We had hoped to make a difference in the lives of children and families, but we never expected the wonderful way they would affect our lives.

What they say

“When my husband and I decided I would go back to work, the thought of leaving my son Wyatt anywhere petrified me.  Creek Wood Academy was the first place I went to visit, and I never visited anywhere else.  I met with Kelly Wood and she introduced me to the classroom where Wyatt would be starting.  The whole staff was very patient as I sat in the classroom floor and explained my fears with tears in my eyes.

Since that time, both Wyatt and I have grown to love Creek Wood.  Wyatt’s teachers have gone over and above what I ever expected, and are considered part of our family.  Wyatt includes his current and past teachers’ names in story time, and asks where they are when he’s not at school.  I can’t imagine ever taking him anywhere else, and I feel so blessed that he is at a school that takes such wonderful care of him.  He has grown  intellectually and learned great interpersonal skills.  Much of this is due to what he learns everyday at Creek Wood.”
