My name is Brenda Carter. I moved to Tennessee 19 years ago from Jacksonville, Fla. I worked at Lakeview School in Humphrys County for six years as a teacher’s assistant and a substitute teacher. I feel very blessed to be working with your children at Creek Wood Academy. I have always loved working with children and youth, and I have done so at church and other affiliations for years.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Shannon, and all of my family and friends. My favorite hobbies are cooking, gardening, traveling and working with/caring for animals. I look forward to my future here at Creek Wood Academy.
Hi, my name is Nicole Daniels. I moved to Tennessee from California in the summer of 2006. I have been working with children since 2004 starting with volunteer help my sophomore year of high school. Throughout high school, I was part of the Education and Child Development Academy where most of my basic classes surrounded a core education in the development of children. After leaving California, I worked for a child care center for five years where I taught children from ages 18 months to 4 years. I was the lead teacher for three years in the 3-year-old classroom. I am excited about perusing my career here at Creek Wood. My passion has always been in child care.
I am a graduate of Columbia State Community College where I earned a certificate in Early Education and my CDA. I am CPR certified, TECTA certified and trained in TNELDS.
My hobbies include art, sci-fi movies and spending time with my wonderful husband, Justin, and my beautiful daughters.

Hi there! My name is Kate McCormack. I have been here at Creek Wood since July 2015. I taught dance for five wonderful years. I worked with children ages 3 – 10, but spent more of my time with 3- and 4-year-olds. I love to dance and feel very lucky to pass that love of dance on to your children.
I really enjoy being part of the team here at Creek Wood and having the opportunity to be a part of your child’s life. I look forward to those smiles and hugs every day!
I’m a nerd. Star Wars, Dr. Who, Lord of the Rings… I love them all! I’m also a huge hockey fan.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, reading and spending time with my friends, family and pets.
